The Story

It all started with a blanket and a basket. Add a little heartache and a touch of nostalgia for some place I'd never been.

For more than 15 years, I have used my hands to birth art. I have sought home as an outsider for many more. Along the way, I met incredible people who have taught and inspired me. Years of searching, learning, and witnessing the great mystery of human creativity.

Now, the journeys and lessons have led me to understand that home is what you make of it. For me, home has come to mean the place of rest. Good food, good friends, and good stories. Home is all good things, and this is Paradise Home.

Attention to Detail

Carefully selected materials and ingredients come together with modern design sensibilities to create elegant and unique goods.

Traditional Methods, Unconventional approach

Hand cut. Hand blended. Hand sewn. Hand made with nothing but love.

Responsible Stewardship

Our projects compliment one another. We do our best to source our resources ethically while utilizing techniques that minimize waste. Paradise Home also believes in collaborating with marginalized communities to help create economic opportunities that lift people up. We don't do charity, we do solidarity.

Representation Matters

You are welcome here, and you are beautiful just because you exist.

Journey to Home

Slow Fashion & Artisan Crafted Goods

Each and every item created or curated by Paradise Home is representative of our passion for beautiful craft. Carefully collected fabrics, hand-carved prints, small batch beauty products, and one-of-a-kind treasures are the heart and soul of what we do.

Celebrating Diversity

Everyone marches to the beat of their own drum, and Paradise Home is happy to help you follow your own rhythm.

Creating Community

Through collaborations with local makers, entrepreneurs, galleries, and community organizations, Paradise Home hopes to contribute to the robust creative community in the Midwest. We have big dreams, and they have to start somewhere, right?

Things move along so rapidly nowadays that people saying: “It can’t be done,” are always being interrupted by somebody doing it
