Fail Magnificently, also known as “the F-word Quilt” is one of the most complex quilts I’ve made to date. The quilt features brilliant batiks and vintage prints in pink, green, orange. and brown combined with intricate free motion quilting over nearly every square inch. There is always something new to see, including the parts where I got a bit frustrated and incorporated some grown up words directly into the stitching. The stitching also includes faces, flowers, nature, and linework. The pieced backing is made of large pieces, giving the option to use either side of the quilt. This improvisational quilt is a gem, and measures 74” x 80”, perfect for a full size bed. Each quilt comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Paradise Home is a pet-friendly studio space. In the spirit of my grandmothers before me, all quilts are made in my studio under strict supervision from my loving Boston terrier, Mojo. All handmade quilts have imperfections, and that’s what make them beautiful. All Paradise Home quilts are perfectly imperfect, and may be machine washed with care.

Washing instructions: Wash your quilt in cold water on delicate with dye- and perfume-free detergent, with the option of adding a Color Catcher at the beginning of the cycle. To dry: tumble on low to no heat until quilt is nearly dry, finish drying in fresh air.
